Prof. Dr. Melissa Pala

Welcome! 

I am a Professor of Economics and Financial Markets at DHBW Karlsruhe. Previously I was an Economist at the Research Center of Deutsche Bundesbank. 

I obtained my Ph.D. in Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt and my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz. 

My research interests are Empirical Banking, Financial Networks, Monetary Policy, Liquidity Provision and Financial Crisis.
